Autumn holidays at the Viking Ship Museum

Archieved: 21/10-2024

During the autumn holidays, we celebrate the transition between the summer and the dark winter, between life and death.

We gather around the fire to tell stories about the Viking gods, meet in the tent to card yarn and spin noren threads, give life to both small model boats and large Viking ships in the shipyard and immerse ourselves in the past in the Maritime Archaeological Doculab and in the Viking Ship Hall.

Date:
to
(museum opening)

Visit the Children's Village and trace the footsteps of Master Thief Heidenreich in the Viking Ship Hall or fight as a Viking, spin your own Norse thread or bake Birkakiks over the fire at Strandengen. There are plenty of things to do during the autumn holidays here at the Viking Ship Museum.
