Police visit on the way to Aarhus
Saturday 13 July 2024, the sixth day of Ottar's voyage.
The plan to sail towards Funen was cancelled when the wind shift to the North East wind was delayed. The decision was made to return to Aarhus instead, where we are now waiting for a new crew, while four crew members went home. This means that half of this year's summer cruise is already over.
On the way from Tunø towards Aarhus, we were visited by the police, who wanted to say hello. In the evening, we pulled Ottar into the inner harbour as the space on the outer pier was reserved for a 25m ship. Although the ship didn't arrive until now, we were happy to be in a much more sheltered place when the wind hit this morning. Now we're sitting in the sailor's lounge, happy to have a roof over our heads while the rain pours down...
