Højestene Stone Ship

There was at the very least one Viking buried here under a symbolic ship made of stones that would ferry the deceased to the Realm of the Dead. The bones were found in a stone covered grave, but it’s not known whether it was a man or woman. The stone ship is located on Korshavn Island, which is connected to Avernakø and Drejet dam.
