Goodbye Germany
The crew has had good use of rain clothes during this year's expedition.
After a weekend in Germany with overwhelming interest, and hospitality, the Sea Stallion sets the course for Denmark.
Two ages and two very different types of ships meet: The slender warship of the Vikings and medieval severe-built cog.
Even in the protected fjord Schlei it is can get wind in the sail. Monday 16 July it was blowing so strongly, about 18 m/s, the Sea Stallion decided to take a second night in Germany before heading across the Baltic Sea to Rudkøbing.
Heavy traffic and great hospitality at the Schlei Fjord
The sail is set and the mood is excellent.
