The rudder withy which fastens the rudder to the hull do break occasionally so it was no big surprise. But within that one hour where the ship was rolling before a new withy was in place made quite a few of the crew members seasick.
The rudder withy broke... and got fixed
The rudder withy broke and the ship thus lost its ability to steer. Luckily the Sea Stallion holds such a good balance between hull, cargo and sail that it was able to stay the course without rudder.
