Enjoy a summer evening on the fjord
The Viking Ship Museum arranges sunset boat trips in traditional, Nordic wooden boats. The evening tour gives you an insight into the art of sailing with square sails.

The boat is sailed by an experienced sailing instructor, who is happy to share information about working and sailing reconstructed Viking Ships.
Guests onboard are the crew and are participating actively when rowing and setting the sail. The evening trips are dependent on wind and weather. During the evening, the boat will go ashore and allow participants to enjoy food and refreshments brought along.
All trips are planned to end just before sunset.

12 Juli 2023 at 18:00
26 July 2023 at 18:00
18 August 2023 at 17:00
Where: All sailings depart from the Viking Ship Museum's harbour
Ticket price: 555 DKK for adults (18+ years of age) and 440 DKK ffor children 4 - 17 years of age
Duration: ca. 3½ hours

Please note:
- IMPORTANT: For safety reasons all guests must be able to understand Danish or English. Otherwise they will not be allowed to go aboard.
- We reserve the right to cancel sailing trips if it is not possible for us to go through with the sailing trip.
- Duration: 3½ hours
- Bring warm clothing.
- Children under the age of 4 cannot join the sailing trips.
- The ticket cannot be refunded unless the trip is cancelled.
- Ticket fee is not refundable.
