There's now less than 24 hours to go until the launch of the Gislinge Boat. Hard to believe we're nearly there! The last day of the build was spent making the final oar lock and rowing thwarts, putting the finishing touches to the tiller, sail and rig and getting the boatyard ship-shape and tidy in preparation for the big day tomorrow. The Gislinge Boat will be launched at 13:00 but there will be plenty of activity at the Museum from 10:00 onwards, as the rest of the Museum's boat collection is taken on land for the winter. Come and join us to celebrate the end of a long and successful sailing season and the maiden voyage of the Gislinge Boat!
