9.45 Skipper’s briefing:
There is no change in the weather. The forecast is still for easterly winds for many days to come. We will continue to follow the weather forecasts and are staying in Lowestoft harbour. Enjoy the sun and the light winds.
We have been given permission to use the common rooms of the sports ground where we are camping. We can use them free of charge if we paint one room and an external wall. Eight people will be needed for this. Two people will be needed to clean the toilets and bathroom.
Midships has the anchor watch.
Otherwise the day is free for the crew’s own purposes.
18.00 Evening meal in the camp. The midship section is seeing to a grill.
21.00 “Home movies” in the common room.
