8.00 Breakfast by the ship.
8.45 Skipper’s briefing:

We are staying in Wicklow harbour today. Last night the wind was up to 15 metres/sec. from the south-east.

The wind is now south-easterly, 8–10 metres/sec.

11.00 Visit to Wicklow Lifeboat Station
14.00 Dance on the quay. Fergus plays the bagpipes.
15.00 Louise gives a presentation in the sailing club.
18.00 Evening meal by the boat.
20.00 Reception in the sailing club.

The day’s tasks and activities.

The galley tent to be strengthened and improved with more eyes and straps.

The forward section has anchor watch.

Go to bed early and get a good night’s sleep.

We expect to sail towards Lands End in the morning. If the weather is good enough, there could be several days’ sailing ahead.
